# معنی To throw the book at چیست؟

یعنی پرتاب کردن نشونه گرفتن (با عصبانیت)  
Somebody threw an egg at the minister

اما throw to یعنی انداختن  
Please threw the keys to me from the window

این‌ها معنیشون ربطی به اصطلاح بالا نداره. book ی که اونجا گفته، منظورش کتاب قانونه، که معنی کل اصطلاح میشه “اشد مجازات کردن”.
