to be married- This means a state of being. Are you married or are you single?
Correct Example: I am married.
to be married (to someone)- Also state of being. But who is married to you?
Correct Example: I am married to Sam.

ببینید فعل marry یعنی عروسی کردن گذشته اش میشه married
Married صفت هم هست به معنای متاهل
I married reza یعنی با رضا ازدواج کردم
I am married یعنی من متاهل هستم
I got married یعنی من ازداج کردم ولی معمولا سالش رو بعدش میگن
مثلا i got married in 2016
یا i got married 4 years ago
