# کاربرد for چیست؟

در این جمله for به معنی برای معنی میده تو جمله؟ اصلا باید for رو حتما بیاریم؟

سلام دوست عزیز  
تو جمله‌ی We shopped for souvenirs and ate ice cream. کلمه‌ی for حرف اضافه‌ی فعل shop هستش. شاید تو ترجمه‌ی تحت‌اللفظی به صورت برای ترجمه کنیم ولی همیشه نیاز به ترجمه نداره.  
تو این معنی، " **for**" **هدف** خرید سوغاتی و خوردن بستنی رو نشون می ده.

یعنی ما **به منظور** خرید سوغاتی و خوردن بستنی رفتیم خرید.
