Using at and in

Hello friends. I wondered if it is up to me to use “at” and “in” in sentences or not.

For instance:He works at a high school.
Or
He works in a high school.

Which one is correct?
Or are both of them correct?

Hi dear .We actually use both in school or high school and at school , for slightly different situations. At school means the person who is literally, physically, inside the school . In school means the person who is studying or working in general .but not necessarily inside the school building at that moment.

Hi again😊
But you know,I mentioned that we use “She is in the restaurant.” Rather than “She is at the restaurant.”
Even though when we want to mention literally the person is physically there.:unamused:
I’m confused about these prepositions.:woman_facepalming:t2:

سلام وقتتون بخیر.
حتما قبل از پرسیدن سوالتون توی تالار سرچش کنین. این تاپیک که فرستادم رو لطفا مطالعه کنین.
روی preposition ها هم خیلی حساس نشین با قانون یاد گرفتن بیشتر کار رو برای خودتون سخت میکنین تا آسون. به مرور زمان وبا تمرین زیاد دستتون میاد.
