New Year’s Resolution

Hey guys what’s up ? how’s it going without internet?? Bored?

I usually don’t practice writing and it’s ok , I’m not a good writer even in my native language so if you find any misspell or mistakes be cool about it .

Today I wanna talk about New Year’s resolution , have you thought about it yet?

As Aj has thought us many times, during tough times like this ( war ) one way to calm ourselves is making a list of goals and try to obtain even those items that seem insignificant .

These are my announcements:

1-this year I’m gonna have a breakthrough with English and be able to speak more fluently.

2-I’m gonna participate in TTC course for kids and teenagers and start to teach .

3-I’ve always wanted to learn a third language so this year I’m gonna practice German in a serious way .

4-I’m gonna maintain being a good guitarist and still allocate some time for it .

5-I’ll try my best to improve my personality and try to be thoughtful and caring about others.

I can still go on but i think I’ve shared enough .

Now it’s your turn!

I dare you to share your goals here ( even the smallest ones) and later come and say what have you done about them ??

Hi there

This year I had a lot to do on my plate but with war everything was ruined:,(

But here are some of them which I hope I can achieve:

As u said, I also wanna be more fluent in speaking and same as TTC and getting a job in teaching sphere.

Gettin my driving’s license; I’ve been putting it off for sooo long:melting_face:

Reading 50 or more books in this year and more of them should be in English.(also finishing Harry Potter book series:head_shaking_horizontally:)

working more on my sanity, life, health and personality as well.

Finishing my last course book!

And last but not least, working on my Uni subjects more than previous years.

That’s it!

There’s probably more but I can’t remember.

Wish u like with ur journey:two_hearts::sparkles:

Dear kimeow !

Thank you for reply !

First of all with you English, i can see that you’ve put a lot of effort and I’m pretty sure it’ll pay off .

With your driving license well .. better later than never!

And with reading books I encourage you to read “all of them “ in English .

About university i don’t know what to say, everything’s become some sort of mess !

Anyway.. wish you the best in all of your endeavors :bouquet:

Ps:if you take the TTC course, let me know, thank you :bouquet:

Yes . I’ve been teaching for almost 3 years, and I have the experience of working at Kish, Safir, and the ILI.

It can be a nice job if money doesn’t matter to you:wink:

Some courses are online.

If you live in Tehran, you can participate in face to face classes. But some of them are intensive and can put you under a lot of pressure.

My advice:

First of all, decide where you want to work

Each institute wants its teachers to have their own TTC cerificate.

So, if you want to work at Safir, you need to take part in a TTC course held by Safir.

And try to avoid TTC courses held by local institutes as you might end up wasting your money and time!

Of course it matters!

I’ve seen lots of English teachers who are not fluent..

If i wanted to work for little money i could have done it a long time ago .

Please tell me the more fluent you are the better the salary.

Or am i just hallucinating??

By the way what do you think about safir ?? Do they have a great TTC course or what ?

I have put aside playing guitar for a long time due to personal commitments.

I think fluency matters but it’s not everything.

Sometimes u know sth in English but u can’t explain it to others. And this is one of my problems.

A friend of mine, has participated in Safir course I assume it was useful, later she worked there as a teacher for a while.

Yeah I wanted to join in a famous institute and I’d like to work there

Do u teach children or adults?

 I honestly can’t see myself teaching children

Also I’d like to be able to talk in English all the time in my class which I think I can find it in higher levels.

What books do u teach?

2 پسندیده

Yeah it’s not everything but it’s mandatory! How do you want to teach something when you don’t know it well enough?

It’s like spreading wrong information.

Anyway do you think safir is good?

I hope to teach in some place that’s close to the house but safir is far away . Don’t know what to do :smiling_face_with_tear:
