I’m not new here but I’ve been using this app rarely for more than 2years
I’m just wondering why no one uses this app to speak or communicate in English here? This app fortunately is dedicated to English language and there are a huge numbers of learner and English teachers here but nobody starts to communicate with others by writing and speaking in English in this atmosphere.
I mean all of us come here to learn more. And as far as I know the best way to learn a new language is interaction not just study sources.
I am enough encouraged to tell I am ready to speak with you guys. No matter what your level is. Just go on and speak with someone
Well as a great procrastinator I find it hard to stay consistent with my trainings and whenever the pressure increases my willingness towards studying declines and eventually I’ll find myself ended up in situation which I don’t study at all so I decided to keep it light by just passively consuming contents and memorising my flashcards
If I want to reply you like almost therapists do, I have to say “you are not alone”
Honestly thesekinds of situations are very tough to be in. Specially when it comes to these days when we feel disappointed and exhausted of the huge conflicts.
But I still think the best way is interaction to learn even as you mentioned for “consuming contents and memorizing flashcards” because language in its own is an interactive nature and it has a mutual feature in its inner.
Before the internet cut off, I had been talking to people from other countries for a few months and although my grammar was awful, I didn’t get much judgment or bad reactions. That’s when I understood what deep learning means… I think most people who don’t speak here, are a little afraid of being judged. well I was a little afraid too in the past. But now I don’t care and I do it wherever I can until I improve my language skills. I’m writing this for you (who are just reading ) I came here just like you to learn from my mistakes.
