Can you send me one of your favorite songs here? I’m sick of my current playlist.
Hotel California, by Eagles
On a dark desert highway
Cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas
Rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance
I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself
“This could be Heaven or this could be Hell”
Then she lit up a candle
And she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor
I thought I heard them say
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (any time of year)
You can find it here
Her mind is Tiffany-twisted
She got the Mercedes Benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys
That she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard
Sweet summer sweat
Some dance to remember
Some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain
Please bring me my wine
He said, We haven’t had that spirit here
Since 1969
And still those voices are calling from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely
(place
Such a lovely face
They livin’ it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
Bring your alibis
Mirrors on the ceiling
The pink champagne on ice
And she said, 'We are all just prisoners here
Of our own device
And in the master’s chambers
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives
But they just can’t kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
Relax, said the night man
We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like
But you can never leave
I love this song. (。‿。)
Hi.
Last night you asked me a question and because it was late, I decided to answer in the morning. If you still want, please notify me to record a voice message. Thanks.
Oh, sure. Last night I just thought to myself I’d rather not mix the two topics together. So I decided to record a voice message today. But now that you’ve already seen it there’s no reason for me to ask the same question. Yeah, I’d be happy to know that. Record your voice whenever you felt convenient. (ʘᴗʘ✿)
Actually, I began reading Meditations by Marcus Ourelius three days ago. I’ve just finished its first book.
That’s great.
Hi.
I was surfing youtube and I came across this video that one of the channels which I’m subscribed to has recently uploaded.
It talks about recommended books on Stoicism. I though you may like it.
Sadly we cannot have access to books mentioned in the video, but I think many of them are downloadable from Zlibrary.
The link of the video:
Thanks. (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
I’ll check it out in the morning.
Thank you for sharing this informative video.
Generally speaking, the errors in religion are dangerous, those in philosophy only ridiculous.
David Hume
Go over now all those you have known yourself, one after the other: one man follows a friend’s funeral and is then laid out himself, then another follows him – and all in a brief space of time.
The conclusion of this?
You should always look on human life as short and cheap.
Yesterday sperm: tomorrow a mummy or ashes.

“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”-Oscar Wilde .
Mad Girl’s Love Song by Sylvia Plath
"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
God topples from the sky, hell’s fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan’s men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I fancied you’d return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"
Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.
(I can guarantee that. )
That’s so deep and profound and Hard for me to understand. I’m not that smart. I don’t usually came up with such comments all by myself. I just copy them from some inspirational quote website. You know my life is full of exciting and meaningful events that I don’t have time to plan for. Like watching Netflix, scrolling through social media, or posting clichéd comments on the internet. Life is indeed what happens while you are busy making other plans. And by plans, I mean excuses.
Oh, this man again!
