سلام به همه دوستان.
امشب بعد از دو چالش «دیدگاه من» میریم سراغ سومی.
سومین هفته رو با درسی از مجموعه انگلیسی قدرت شروع می کنیم. این مجموعه رو میتونید در اپلیکیشن زبانشناس هم پیدا کنید.
این داستان رو از درس 18 یعنی آرام بسوزان برداشتم که در زمان آینده گفته میشه.
چند تا نکته:
- حتما به خوبی به صوت گوش بدید و متن رو دنبال کنید.
- حتما زمان خوندن سعی کنید ریتم و آوا (Intonation) رو رعایت کنید تا تلفظتون بهتر شه.
- اگه براتون سخت نیست کمی داستان رو به روش خودتون تغییر بدید تا یه mnemonic (یک یادآور) ایجاد کنید که لغات در ذهنتون بهتر جای بگیرن.
- بهترین بودن مهم نیست. مهم مشارکت و خوش گذرونیه پس همگی شرکت کنند.
متن داستان:
So every day she’ll set aside money to buy a purple cat. In fact, she’ll allocate all of her spare money, all of her savings for the purpose of buying a purple cat.
She’s gonna allocate all of her savings for that purpose.
And one day, she’ll finally do it. One day she will save a total of $12,500,000. And immediately she’s gonna run to the closest pet store. But they’ll be sold out of purple cats. They won’t have any purple cats. So then she’ll sprint across the city to another pet store. They’ll be sold out, too.
So she’ll sprint to another and another and another. She’ll sprint to every pet store in the city. But none of them will have a purple cat. They won’t have a purple cat. They’ll be sold out. Tiffany will be very sad and she’ll cry and she’ll cry. In fact, she’s gonna cry for 27 days and 5 hours.
She’ll cry and she’ll cry and she’ll cry until finally, after 27 days and 5 hours, she’ll finally relinquish her dream of getting a purple cat. She’ll finally relinquish that dream. And then she’ll buy a nice, cute, wonderful, little pink cat. And Tiffany will love her little pink cat and the little pink cat will love Tiffany.
They’ll be very happy and in fact Tiffany and all her cats, all 30 cats, will be very happy together.

to set aside: (اصطلاح) کنار گذاشتن برای آینده. مثلا پولی جمع کنید که در آینده یه چی بخرید.
allocate: اختصاص دادن
spare: اضافه
saving: (در اینجا) پول جمع شده یا کنار گذاشته شده.
sold out: فروخته شده (در اینجا گربه های بنفش فروخته شدند)
sprint: دویدن با حداکثر سرعت یا به اصطلاح استارت زدن
relinquish: بیخیال شدن، ول کردن

حالا شما باید هنر بخرج بدید داستان رو با توجه به زمان و شرایط داستان ( اگه سخت نیست براتون) به حول و محور خودتون در بیارید.
و اما…
فرزاد یه ایده خوب برای دوستانی که دوستانی که دوست دارم اکت داشته باشند داد که از این به بعد به پی او وی ها اضافه می کنیم.
از این به بعد در کنار داستان ها یه فایل مکالمه هم قرار میدیم. این فایل ممکنه از یه فیلم یا یه مصاحبه، پادکست یا هر چیزی برداشته شه.
دوستانی که علاقه دارن اکت داشته باشند میتونند ادای کارکتر ها رو دربیارن و از انگلیسیشون لذت ببرند.
اول از همه باید تاکید کنم که این فایل دومی سخت تر از داستانه، قبول!!! پس دوستانی که واسشون این دومی سخته اجباری نیست. ولی به قول معروف Give it a Shot.

متن مکالمه:
Joe: Yeah, you’re right, I mean it’s a totally different ball game, for sure.
Kristin: Yeah, you’ve been one for a while now.
Joe: Yeah, I have, I mean, y’know, it was a little more difficult when I first started.
But, y’know, at this point I don’t even have to think about it. It’s just second nature.
Kristin: Yeah, I can imagine. Well, you know Chris that you met just a couple of weeks ago?
Joe: Yeah, yeah, I know who you’re talking about.
Kristin: He’s, he’s the first vegan that I ever met. I actually met him, uh, right after I graduated from college. I still wasn’t even a vegetarian and he was already a vegan at that point.
Joe: Did you even, like, know what a vegan diet entailed at that point?
Kristin: Yeah, it’s hard for me to think back that far, but, probably not. I probably learned about it through him.
Joe: Yeah, because I don’t think there, it was, uh, something that was very popular… Kristin: No.
Joe: …at, at that time.
Kristin: No, it wasn’t. I will say, though, that there were, um, one, oh actually there were two vegetarian restaurants in Athens where I was going to college. And, of course, Athens being like San Francisco, a lot of the restaurants had vegetarian options. But shortly after meeting Chris, there was a vegan restaurant that actually popped up.
Joe: Oh yeah?
Kristin: Yeah, it didn’t, didn’t stay very long, but just the fact that one actually came to Athens was pretty surprising.
Joe: There wasn’t enough interest.
Kristin: I guess not.
Joe: Yeah.
Kristin: Actually, though, I didn’t even think the food was that good.
Joe: Yeah, okay, well that’s even worse ‘coz then people who actually go in there who aren’t interested in becoming a vegetarian get turned off even more to the idea.
Kristin: Yeah, that, and I think it was just kind of a little pretentious which doesn’t go over very well in a college town.
Joe: No, you’re right. Well, I mean, I remember when I first made the switch over to being a vegan. I didn’t do it, y’know, just… I didn’t go cold turkey. I mean I, I was dating someone who decided that she wanted to cut dairy out of her diet. So, ‘coz we were both vegetarians already and we ate together pretty much every night… So I found that I wasn’t really eating much dairy at all to begin with. So I thought, well, y’know, maybe now’s the time to give it a shot. Let’s see how it goes. So I decided I was gonna do it for a week or two. And, uh, after about, y’know, maybe five days, I decided I really wasn’t missing the dairy. So I made the decision to just, y’know, turn over a new leaf and decided, I’m not gonna eat dairy anymore.
